How Did a Prostitute Enter Paradise?

A 12:55 paper-collage documentary on the hadith of the woman who gave water to a thirsty dog. It shows what the sahih texts actually say (she was forgiven), where the word Paradise does and does not appear, the twin story of the man and the dog, the woman and the cat, and how scholars from Ibn Hajar to Ibn Taymiyya read one deed against a life of sin, then what Muslim cities built for thirsty animals.

Description

How did a prostitute enter Paradise for giving water to a thirsty dog? What the hadith says (she was forgiven), and what the scholars made of it.
No music: only natural sound, paper and voice.

The Prophet ﷺ told of a prostitute from the Children of Israel (Bani Isra'il) who saw a dog circling a well, almost killed by thirst. She took off her leather sock, tied it with her head-cover, drew up water and gave it to drink, and she was forgiven (Sahih al-Bukhari 3467, 3321; Sahih Muslim 2245). This film reads every authentic wording of the hadith, finds where the word Paradise (Jannah) really appears, in the twin story of a man who gave water to a thirsty dog, and sets her beside the woman and the cat. Then it follows the scholars on how one act of mercy could outweigh a grave sin, why hope is not a licence, and what "in every moist liver there is a reward" built in Muslim cities: a long record of mercy to animals.
